    78% of business leaders rate retention and engagement urgent or important and businesses all over the world are trying to build an inclusive, passionate, multi-generational team. We believe the issue of “engaging people well” is becoming one of the biggest competitive differentiators.

    Rethink the concept: Think holistically

    The days of the annual engagement survey are slowly coming to an end, to be replaced by a much more holistic, integrated, and real-time approach to measuring and driving high levels of employee commitment and passion.

    While the annual engagement survey is a good thing to do, most clients tell us this process is not keeping up. It’s not detailed enough, it isn’t real-time, and it doesn’t consider all the work related issues which drive employee commitment.

    Our research shows that building a highly engaged workforce takes combination of many things, each impacting people in different ways. While the engagement survey may be useful for benchmarking, it’s typically just one area to be addressed.

    Using the word “engagement” in isolation often limits an organisation’s thinking. It’s assumes that your job is to reach out and “engage” people, rather than to build an organisation that is exciting, fulfilling, meaningful, and fun
